Meet Our Team

Hi, I’m Kara!

I’m the co-founder of Apres Club and a lifelong movement enthusiast who has extensively taught Barre, Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, and Sculpt Yoga, and even owned a yoga studio before discovering my true passion: Lagree! The method’s intensity, efficiency, and transformative results won me over, and I’m thrilled to bring it to the Tahoe community.

As an entrepreneur, I’ve built and scaled multiple successful businesses in Austin, and Tahoe. My experience in building brands and cultivating community drives how I envision Lagree Tahoe: not just as a studio, but as a hub for strength, connection, and growth across the entire region.

You’ll find me both behind the mic in class and behind the scenes running operations, always focused on creating a welcoming, high-energy space where people feel challenged and supported. When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually at Incline Beach, skiing Mt. Rose, hiking with our golden retriever, or working at my ceramics studio, Karacotta Ceramics (http://www.karacotta.com/), here in Incline Village.

My goal is to help Lagree Tahoe become a pillar of the local wellness scene, empowering people of all levels to feel strong, capable, and connected, on and off the machine!

Hi, I’m Lexi!

I’m the co-founder of Lagree Tahoe and a Lagree Master Trainer who certifies and mentors instructors around the world. I’m also a licensed marriage & family therapist, which means I care as much about mental strength and confidence as I do about perfect form. In every class, I weave in mindset tools and motivation so you leave stronger in body and mind.

I also co-founded Lagreeing at Home, a global on-demand platform that lets people experience the Lagree method wherever they are.

When I’m not in the studio or teaching certifications, I’m with my husband and our two little boys, skiing, boating, traveling to new corners of the world, or hiking mountain trails. Those adventures fuel the energy and joy I bring to every class.

My goal is simple: to help every person feel supported, challenged, and proud of what their body and mind can do—at any age, on any journey.

Hi, I’m Taylor! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for about a year and a half. I was drawn to Lagree because it felt completely different from anything I’d ever tried—the slow tempo, deep muscle engagement, and those signature shakes showed me a whole new level of strength, both physically and mentally.

My classes are intentional, empowering, high-energy, and supportive. You can expect great music, strong motivation, and hands-on corrections to help you get the most out of every movement. I’m all about creating an environment where you feel supported while also being pushed to grow.

I love programming spider kicks, while giant standing and kneeling inner thighs always keep me humble. My playlists lean toward deep minimal house to keep you locked in and moving with purpose.

What I love most about teaching is watching clients realize they’re stronger than they thought. Lagree forces you to slow down, stay present, and push through discomfort—and there’s something really powerful about that.

Outside of the studio, you’ll find me at cryotherapy sessions at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, chasing that post-workout reset.

Before Lagree, I worked as a nanny and preschool teacher, and later in the superyacht industry—both of which taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to thrive in high-energy environments. Now, I’m fully focused on deepening my knowledge of the Lagree Method and sharing it in a way that’s impactful, challenging, and empowering.

Hi, I’m Lisa! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree since October 2025. I was originally drawn in by the owners, but quickly fell in love with how powerful this method is—not just physically, but mentally too.

My classes are encouraging, athletic, challenging, and focused. You can expect a strong variety of movements, a little bit of spice, and a lot of motivation to help you push past what you think you’re capable of. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching clients break through mental barriers and realize how strong they really are.

I love incorporating moves like spoon and spider kicks (and yes… bungee kicks still humble me every time). You’ll usually catch me playing something by Tate McRae to keep the energy high.

Outside of the studio, I’m all about a good sauna session at home followed by a yogurt protein bowl with berries. Before becoming a Lagree instructor, I’ve had quite the journey—I’ve been an attorney, a baker, a photographer, and now a trainer.

Hi, I’m Natalie! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for about three years. I was first introduced to Lagree in Bend, Oregon by my coworkers—and after being sore for four days from my very first class, I was completely hooked. It challenged me in a way no other workout had, both physically and mentally, and I’ve loved it ever since.

My classes are welcoming, kind… and a little lethal. You can expect glutes on fire, a strong full-body burn, and a playlist that turns the whole experience into a party (think Usher, Pitbull, A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, and Drake).

What I love most about teaching is the community. Getting to know everyone in the room and being part of that shared energy has made Tahoe feel even more like home. It’s truly what makes this space so special.

Outside of the studio, I’m usually swimming in the lake or sprinting to catch a sunset like it’s a competitive sport.

Before teaching Lagree, I worked in architecture and interior design, and I’ve always had a deep passion for psychology and personal growth. I love exploring both the world around me and the world within.

Hi, I’m Grace! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for about 7 months. I was drawn in by the after-high, the community, and the challenge—both physically and mentally. I love how it builds strength while also pushing your mindset in a completely different way.

My classes are focused, fun, grounded, approachable, and challenging. You can expect legs burning, a slow intentional burn, great music, and a strong mental focus throughout class.

I love programming giant reverse twisted plank to pike, while anything involving heavy arms will always humble me. My playlists usually include artists like Stick Figure to keep the vibe steady and motivating.

What I love most about teaching is seeing the community connect and grow stronger together—not just physically, but mentally too. There’s something really powerful about that shared experience.

Outside of the studio, I’m usually enjoying a vanilla almond milk latte and spending time with animals (I love them). I also work as a hairstylist and teach hot yoga, which both influence the way I connect with and guide people.

Hi, I’m Dylanne! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and my first official Lagree class was actually during our Incline opening week—which means I’ve been hooked since day one.

I’ve always loved group fitness, and Lagree checked every box for me—the energy, the community, and the intensity of the workouts. I love how intentional each movement is and how the method continuously challenges me while still being so fun. It’s truly become my space to grow, get stronger, and have a blast doing it.

My classes are enthusiastic, uplifting, and motivating. You can expect a spicy oblique burn (I love a challenging oblique block), high energy, and a workout that leaves you feeling accomplished and strong.

I love programming moves like Sexy Back—core, arms, and back all in one—but isometric leg work like runner’s lunge, skater, and spider lunge will humble me every time.

What I love most about teaching is the community. There’s nothing better than sharing my love of fitness and getting stronger alongside everyone in the room.

Outside of the studio, you’ll find me laying out in the sun soaking up all the Tahoe goodness. My playlists are usually filled with 2010s pop throwbacks to keep things fun and nostalgic.

Fun fact: I have an identical twin sister! I also teach yoga and have been working professionally in finance for over 10 years—bringing both balance and structure into everything I do.

Hi, I’m Lauren! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree since November 2025. I was originally drawn in by the strong, women-led fitness community (and my friend Ingrid!), and quickly fell in love with how empowering the method is.

My classes are encouraging, positivity-focused, motivating, and fun. You can expect a structured, balanced workout that challenges you while still feeling approachable and energizing. I’m passionate about helping clients push themselves, grow stronger, and step into the best version of themselves.

I love programming moves like catfish, while escalator lunges always keep me on my toes. You’ll usually catch some classic rock playing in my classes to keep the energy up and the vibes strong.

Outside of the studio, I’m all about a good hot tub session with a glass of wine. I also work in wine and spirits sales, supporting small producers and independently owned businesses. Having owned a small business myself (and previously teaching at a boutique fitness studio), I’m incredibly passionate about community, connection, and helping small businesses thrive.

Hi, I’m Jessica! I teach at our Incline studio, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for about a year. I was introduced to Lagree through a friend, and we’ve both been hooked ever since.

My classes are playful, encouraging, and form-focused. You can expect spicy leg sequences, intentional movement, and a strong emphasis on doing things the right way so you feel the work exactly where you’re supposed to.

I love programming standing outer thighs, while giant inner thighs always keep me humble. My playlists are fun and upbeat to keep the energy light while the work stays strong.

What I love most about teaching is the energy in the room—watching people show up, challenge themselves, and push a little further each time never gets old.

Outside of the studio, I’m all about a good red light mask session at home followed by a cup of coffee. Fun fact—growing up, PE was actually my least favorite subject, but my dad always had us out hiking in the woods, which sparked my love for movement in a totally different way.

I’ve been teaching Pilates mat and apparatus since 2012 and have worked as a Pilates teacher trainer since 2016, which deeply influences my attention to form and movement quality in every class I teach.

Hi, I’m Ingrid! I teach at our and Truckee studio, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for about 8 years. I was originally drawn to Lagree for the incredible core work, but quickly fell in love with how challenging and effective it is across the entire body.

My classes are high-energy, encouraging, and bootcamp-style. You can expect a strong emphasis on form, powerful full-body work, and the kind of push that helps you challenge yourself in new ways every time you step into the room.

I love programming giant reverse inchworms, while super crunch will always keep me humble. My playlists are always upbeat to keep the energy high and the room moving together.

What I love most about teaching is encouraging people to push past their limits and realize what they’re capable of—it never gets old watching that shift happen in real time.

Outside of the studio, I’m usually walking my dog and enjoying everything Tahoe has to offer. A fun fact about me—I taught English in Taiwan!

Hi, I’m Madi! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for about 2.5 years. I was originally drawn to Lagree because it’s such a quick, effective workout—you’re challenged, sore, and pushed to your limits, but still feel energized for the rest of your day.

My classes are high-energy, challenging, and fun. You can expect strong core work (plank sequences are a must), powerful full-body programming, and a workout that leaves you feeling both accomplished and confident.

I love programming side leg press, especially when we’re moving through heavy legs while laying down—but fifth lunges and any giant leg work off the back platform will always keep me humble. My playlists are EDM-heavy, featuring artists like ODESZA and RÜFÜS DU SOL to keep the energy high and immersive.

What I love most about teaching is connecting others to a workout that’s brought me so much strength and confidence. There’s nothing better than helping someone realize what they’re capable of.

Outside of the studio, you’ll find me grabbing a smoothie from Drink Coffee Do Stuff, followed by a walk along the river with my dog—or chasing waves and powder depending on the season. I’m equally obsessed with surfing and skiing.

I also hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from University of California, Santa Barbara and work in the sustainability space, which is a huge passion of mine.

Hi, I’m Maddy! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for a little over a year. Lagree truly lit a spark in my fitness routine—it helped me strengthen my body, clear my mind, and push past limits I didn’t even know I had.

My classes are challenging with a slow burn… but we still have fun :) You can expect strong core work, spicy glute-focused leg sequences, and that deep shake that keeps you coming back for more.

I love programming standing outer thighs, while scrambled egg will always keep me humble. My playlists are usually filled with early 2000’s club hits to keep the energy high and the vibes fun.

What I love most about teaching is the community. There’s something so special about the shared experience in the room, and getting to be a part of that is everything.

Outside of the studio, you can find me grabbing an almond milk latte at Drink Coffee, baking insanely delicious cookies, or spending my days hiking, camping, and laying out at the lake. In the winter, I’m all about cozy days inside with my dog and a good book.

Hi, I’m Claire! I teach at both our Incline and Truckee studios, and I’ve been practicing Lagree for about 5 years. I was originally drawn to the method because of its physical intensity and the mental discipline it requires. I love how quickly it builds real, functional strength through precise form—and how a single 45-minute class can feel completely transformative.

My classes are challenging, form-focused, empowering, and intentional. You can expect thoughtful variations, science-grounded cueing, and a strong focus on targeted muscle engagement so you feel exactly what you’re supposed to, every step of the way.

I love programming side leg press, while giant hamstring curls always keep me humble. My playlists often feature artists like Charli XCX to keep the energy high and modern.

What I love most about teaching is watching clients push their limits and seeing their strength—both mental and physical—grow over time. My goal is to help you tap into that deep, effective burn and understand exactly how and why your body is working the way it is.

Outside of the studio, you’ll find me enjoying a berry smoothie, stretching or doing yoga by the lake—or ideally both. A fun fact about me: I once sailed across the Atlantic Ocean!

Professionally, I’m a PhD candidate at Harvard University, where I build AI models to improve precision medicine for cancer patients.
